@JestersWar Your analogy would be right if anyone could buy a ticket. Minors under 13 must be with a parent 13-17 can go with express written permission. That’s more akin to a parent signing off on an M rated game or R rated movie

@SupremeVT Then make it an adult only convention- if you do that, imo, the problem is gone The problem here is, they're trying to sell an ESRB game with an E for everyone rating in order to boost ticket sales, while filling the game with hardcore adult content

Offkai x Fansly thing brought up something that annoys me: Parents are responsible for their children, which means the media they view. Guardrails are in place (ESRB ratings, Con policy) that allows the parent to understand what is happening. End of story parents gotta parent

Like some parents suck, I get it internet warriors. I do. At a certain point though people and businesses can only do so much, keep the guardrails in place and do their best to ensure a safe experience while also allowing themselves to operate...

Ok so the main difference that I see with this is that it was restricted and not put in the open as the Fansly thing seems to be. And that included with it being a night market rather than during the main daytime hours, So from a cursory appearance it doesn’t reach the same level of issue as the whole Fansly thing does. As from what I can see is the Fansly postings indicate that it is not separated from the main event and not running at a different time and restricted to 18+
