@WindowsCentral Not a dealbreaker for me, its a "Steam" controller and 99% of my games are on Steam!

Disappointing testing results confirm it: Valve's new Steam Controller cannot be detected as a joypad in PC Game Pass titles when launched as a non-Steam game, unless you install third-party apps from GitHub.
The controller stays in "lizard mode" without access to Steam Input, which offers little more than basic mouse controls and a handful of keyboard inputs for basic navigation.
SDL library support is on the way, but it doesn't solve the lack of XInput on Windows. Is it a game breaker for you, or did you buy the Steam Controller anyway?
