Fenwick's Matt Battaglia on playing East St. Louis: "We went to the wire with Mount Carmel a couple weeks ago. That was really big for our kids. They know they can compete with anyone. I think a lot of our families were surprised. But it confirmed what our kids believed."

Fenwick's Noah Sur is one of the best kickers in the country. Matt Battaglia: "If there is a situation where we need to attempt a 50+ yarder we will throw him out there. A lot of game plan for kickoffs in high school is pray someone makes a tackle. We know it is a touchback."
