Rourke Capital acquired Buffalo Wild Wings in 2017 — The 3 ways that they impacted the brand. The first is cost control. By focusing on tightening labor and supplier margins, they were able to increase their profit. Fenwick's Matt Battaglia on playing East St. Louis: "We went to the wire with Mount Carmel a couple weeks ago. That was really big for our kids. They know they can compete with anyone. I think a lot of our families were surprised. But it confirmed what our kids believed."

Fenwick's Noah Sur is one of the best kickers in the country. Matt Battaglia: "If there is a situation where we need to attempt a 50+ yarder we will throw him out there. A lot of game plan for kickoffs in high school is pray someone makes a tackle. We know it is a touchback."
