Reviewed VATS entry, camera skills, stapling, dissecting LN with juniors. We also simulated converting emergently to thoracotomy. Performed a pericardial window. Repaired a stab wound near the LAD with mattress suturing. Placed a foley in an RV injury and simulated control/repair

Today @tevanveen set up a wet lab with cadavers for all things Cardiothoracic. We were able to perform VATS, mobilize the lung, view the anatomy, resect, and perform exposure procedures and simulations in our state of the art ASTEC facility.
