A sad day indeed with the loss of Dr. Saleemul Huq. I still remember my first interaction with him even today dates back to 20 years in Milan at the D&A Day. A personal loss as much as a loss globally, on a strong voice standing up for the cause of climate action. Will be missed

The sheer number of messages and reposts shows the enormity of the loss of @SaleemulHuq2. Beyond his unquestionable impact on #climatejustice, his humility stands out. I hope that #COP28 is marked by action and not just words, which would be the biggest testament to him.

With due regard, to rule out a foul play the enquiry has to take into account all aspects. Even possibility of abetment to suicide u/s 306 IPC. Enquiry into death of Hindi movie actor has to involve Bollywood. You can't conduct it in his village or for that matter in Hollywood.

@arunbothra Please inquire/investigate. That must happen. But when a home minister ‘directs’ the police to look at Bollywood rivalry purely based on media reports then it is problematic. Get the drift?
