@brixtonbard @brixtonbard totally agree I work in a library and money is very tight and imagine how many children could be helped in communities to support and inspire them to write

Harper Collins paid £2 million for Boris Johnson's memoirs. Booksellers are left with piles and piles of unsold books. When are they going to learn to invest in real writing talent rather than throwing ridiculous amounts of cash on politicians and celebrities?

It was great to return to HMPYOI Swinfen Hall with #NewChapters last Thursday! @eastsidemoses ran a fantastic creative writing workshop focusing on how to write about place. The group discussed two examples and then had a go themselves, with some amazing writing produced.

The New Chapters Anthology 2022 is here and it looks 🔥! This book is filled with extraordinary writing from our #NewChapters participants in prisons, youth offenders institutions, and other secure settings. It's an inspiring testament to the power of creative writing!

She rang you momday to report it was told " it was fixed in January " my dad recently died and mum is now on her own and has mobility issues. I don't think it's acceptable for her to be living in a damp leaky house not after being a good tenant for 52'years

@TamworthCouncil this is a last resort as my 77 year old mum has reported this on numerous occasions. I'm 2020 due to a leaky roof the bedroom ceiling came in she was told it was "fixed" but has been leaking ever since. Now leaking into her newly decorated bedroom and kitchen.
