Presently in Australia. Been here four days. Cabbed, Ubered, eaten out every meal, coffee shop in the morning. Total paid in tips: $0.00 Not even given the opportunity to tip. Server hands you the POS terminal with the total already entered in. No pop up tip screen, no “tip here” button. Just tap and go. The price is the price, and the service has been just fine. Makes you wonder why tipping culture in North America is so out of hand?
