@AlyssaMatesic Congrats on finishing. I have been reading your posts and find them full of great information. You are a wealth of knowledge. I would purchase your book when available. You are braver than me. I only write essays and other stories. A book scares me. Bravo for you Alyssa!!

I wrote my very first book last year, and now that the release date is approaching, I’m excited for sure, but also…nervous. 😬 Is anyone even going to read it? Will people find it valuable? Or did I just waste a ton of time? When these thoughts creep in, I try to reflect on all the ways I’ve changed — for the better — since writing my book. Even if no one reads it, the process alone was worth it. Here are the five ways writing a book has changed my life in ways I never even imagined. ⤵️

When I was 6, our school taught us this. An English song to Grade 1 pupils. In a classroom with glass windows on 3 sides. A breeze blew in. I wrote the lyrics in a slim notebook. Remember so clearly bc I loved it as I still do. Stumbled upon it on TV today 😊
