I'm beginning to create the outline on a project in which my students will create their own podcast and monthly magazine where they discuss topics they have learned in science and how it relates to what they see out in the world. It's going to be big! I'M AN INNOVATOR!

The Global Threads project focused on engaging with local members of Akron’s Karen and Congolese refugee community in their language arts, media tech, and social studies classes. Everything learned was documented, developed and published to their website for the public to see!

Our 6th graders’ final project of the year was jam packed with cultural education, web development, and global literacy. 🌍
