We want to be in the European Union. And I am confident that if some representatives of the EU do not make mistakes, we will be there. We are already strengthening the EU, first and foremost from a security perspective. And today, security is a priority for everyone.
A union that could be much stronger – I believe this would be a union of such countries as Norway, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Türkiye. These are four countries that the European Union is lacking. Because Türkiye and Ukraine together outmatch Russia’s army: from control of the Black Sea to control of airspace.
I know there are questions when it comes to Türkiye. I know that the United Kingdom has left the European Union. I know that Norway has many different forms of cooperation and economic ties with the EU, and so on. But I still believe that these four countries would make the EU the strongest union in the world, with the best security in the world.
We are not seeking an alternative. I simply believe that these four countries are very strong and would make the European Union stronger. And even these four countries on their own would certainly form a very strong union.
From an interview with the "United News" telethon (3/5).

It's heartwarming to know that The Netherlands remember and appreciate our veterans and fallen soldiers in WWII by sending 20,000🌷every year to Canada.

Premier of Greenland Jens-Frederik Nielsen posted the following on Facebook:
It will be a no thank you from here.
President Trump’s idea of sending an American hospital ship to Greenland has been noted. However, we have a public healthcare system where treatment is free for citizens. That is a deliberate choice — and a fundamental part of our society. That is not the case in the United States, where seeing a doctor comes at a cost.

We are always open to dialogue and cooperation — including with the United States. But please speak with us instead of making more or less random statements on social media. 👍
Dialogue and cooperation require respect for the fact that decisions about our country are made here at home. 🇬🇱

When Lindsey Graham called Mette Frederiksen “little lady,” that wasn’t strength. It was insecurity amplified.
When frustration turns into insults, it usually means leverage is fading.
Europe is strongest when it stands united, and Greenland’s future belongs to Greenlanders.
History is never kind to those who mistake arrogance for power.

…every time, there’s a lump in my throat. It’s hard to walk here. It feels like they are all looking straight at you. There are no strangers here. In the news, it’s just numbers and reports, but here-it’s specific people and their eyes. We all try to live 'in the here and now,' but do we actually know how to do that? Or are we just passing the time that was gifted to us...
We all call ourselves civilized, but in practice, some truly are, while others just pretend; they never learned how to solve problems with words. And we Ukrainians have to defend our right to life from those who have forgotten where their cave is. A life without war sounds like some kind of fantasy today. But that is exactly where we all want to be. Right now. Eternal glory to our defenders.
