@Kit_Yates_Maths All these and yet tested negative on PCR !!! Symptoms - cough headaches chills, burning up, fatigue, lost smell & taste. Same for my daughter 6 positive LFT but 2 negative PCR!!! Both of us were really poorly. Reported it to Public Health Wiltshire as 119 seemed clueless.

Many of us are hearing a lot anecdotally about people testing positive on multiple lateral flow tests but then negative on multiple PCR tests. Turns out PHE are aware of this and looking into it. Here is an extract from an email a local PHE team sent in response to a query.

@Fiona_Caldicott Such sad news. I knew her in 1994/5 at RCPsych. She’d stay over in a little residential flat adjoining the research unit where I worked. I would see her early in the morning making tea & toast. I’ll never forget how kind she was to me when I lost my sister. It meant a lot.
