I’ve been dealing with TMJ (thanks fibromyalgia!), the death of our first sweet ferret, Wiggles, and my husband’s health issues for the past two weeks. Thankfully I have new pain medications and I’m working on getting my hubby medically laid off. The passing of Wiggles is so very sad. Still crocheting… here’s a lovely little bath mat.

@femfict There have been *many* lunar orbiters is my point. And without issues. Personally, I'm all for something that can create sustainable, clean energy.

The Japanese spacecraft Ouna which was placed in lunar orbit as part of Kaguya/SELENE mission in 2009 and Chandrayaan-1 launched in 2008 are the two defunct spacecraft. All the other orbiters have been either moved out of the moon-bound orbital regime or have landed/impacted the lunar surface, either deliberately or due to failure to land softly. reading this part to that article is fairly concerning. two are already defunct and one of the ones defunct is from Japan, yet its Japan talking about that hoop???

What could possibly go wrong with this idea ? Just remember ...it is floating above our heads ok 👌 lol 😆

I will support Elons vision of the moon, something that is "stationary" like the way they landed on it before ... I get bad sensations seeing a hoop circling it like that ...I don't think it's going to go well ...personal view ...no Google lol And satellites , I'd have to research more about them, but hopeful of a way one day of retrieving space garbage ...all this technology ...someone can build those arms and scoop and gather ? Lol 😂

@femfict Actually, his being in office is due to our antiquated system for voting. It's Electoral College and not actual popular vote. Our system worked way back when there were major spaces between populations. There is no need for it now but we can't seem to get rid of it.

I'm concerned it could cave in around the moon Susanne and ... If the moon disappeared,  Earth would experience massively reduced tides, much darker nights, and a rapidly spinning planet with days lasting only 6–12 hours. Long-term, the loss of stabilization would cause chaotic, extreme seasonal climate shifts and potential mass extinction due to the collapse of marine and coastal ecosystems.

@femfict Make sure they are made with beeswax, soy, or coconut. Synthetic paraffin wax beads aren't good for the environment. I'm so glad that since post menopause I have absolutely no hair on my legs or underarms to deal with.

I think that if you go through the correct channels and paperwork and show you don't have a criminal or mental health issue background, yes. But if you really read the second amendment you can see how it is open to interpretation as it was originally written in the 1700s. At that time, things were very different. That being said, I truly believe we have the right to defend ourselves and that includes legally owned guns. I have a shotgun in my upstairs bedroom and its purpose is if someone breaks in during the middle of the night I can defend our home. Now, it has less than lethal loaded in it and if that fails, I also have a Walther that is lethal. I'm not bringing a bat to something that involves my husband's life, my life, or the life of my pets (wish those sweeties were more aggressive but their bark is way worse than any bite they *might* try).

Well That's because not EVERY MAN ever had any right to bare arms ! Guns are not for every man ...it's disgusting that old thought they call an amendment still exists today !!! Will be emailing my MP and MPP sometime this weekend too ... Complaining about the Quebec online webforms denying us access to get them online when we don't have Quebec health cards or pay taxes to Quebec And see if they can find out why or how to resolve it ... I can email them the form I printed out along with anything else they need etc

@femfict We have state taxes in some states and then sales tax that varies. For example, where I live - Washington state - we don't have a state income tax but we pay 6.5%–10%+ sales tax, a 7% tax on high-earner capital gains, and business & occupation (B&O) taxes.

And they have "city taxes" but not all cities ... We don't have city taxes lol We have provincial taxes much like your state taxes ...but not removed from paycheques But not all their states have state taxes Ontario is 13 % ...it's called HST ...harmonized sales tax ...8 % of it is PST or provincial sales tax ...5% is GST or goods and sale tax ... Ours is not taken from pays ...provincial sales tax is done at the point of purchasing items ...

I'm studying American paycheques lol 😂 I took a payroll course as part of my bookkeeping certification And I'm confused about this Medicare tax It appears they pay a tax called Medicare but it's not covering their medical needs like our tax contributions do ? Strange stuff .. 1.45% on all wages (no cap), plus an extra 0.9% if you earn over $200,000 (single) or higher thresholds for other statuses. So they pay this on their cheques but it's not like here for medical care ?
