I have written curriculum for international organizations, including the UN, and taught educational policy at the graduate level. Please, show me the state standards where kids are taught to hate the United States. I’ll wait.

When I (born '84) was in Elementary School in Arizona, they did teach in school that the USA is a great country, founded on American values such as liberty and equality. At some point, this changed. Kids are going to have to be taught something about their country, and it's impossible for that to be utterly unbiased... it is not going to be the perspectives of the entire world, it's going to be selected perspectives about America. It is more appropriate that it be from the perspective of people who love the country, rather than people who want to depict the USA as a fundamentally racist nation, for example. Communist infiltration into American education (and more) is very real, and I am glad to hear Stephen Miller speak about counteracting it. It was always a terrible idea to allow schools to teach American kids to hate America. Reversing it is important.

That they were ok with him extorting a foreign nation, ok with him enriching himself off of the presidency, ok with him pardoning his buddies, taking national security documents, and showing top secret information to private citizens, ok with him threatening to execute our generals, ok with him siding with Putin, ok with him inciting a deadly attack on our Capitol to stay in power, ok with him being a business fraud, ok with him being an adjudicated rapist and ok with him being a convicted felon. They’ve told you they’re ok with the pathological lying, the idiocy, the amorality, the vitriol, the violent threats, the racism, the sexism & the xenophobia.
