3 things can reverse FII flows: Lower STT. Lower STCG. Lower LTCG. And btw, if nobody makes money, what's the point of capital gains taxes?

Thalapathy Vijay has around ₹300 crore in savings and FD accounts. At 7% interest, that alone can generate nearly ₹1.75 crore every month. Money brings more money.

Saw many finfluencers asking as to why Vijay is keeping a significant portion of his Rs.624 crores networth in Savings Bank Account and Fixed Deposits. It goes without saying our finfluencers are recommending equity for him. This networth puts Vijay in 0.001% of country's population. That is roughly in top 15,000 to 20,000 households among 320 million households in the country. So far, he has been earning hundred plus crore as yearly income too. It is a disease that we think everyone needs equity, mutual funds and SIPs. When you are cream of wealthy, returns doesn't matter. I know many rich people who keep money only in banks with zero exposure to equity. These people have created a size of wealth which only handful of people are capable of creating even through equity.

Sometimes the costliest mistake in investing is not picking the wrong stock, but picking the right stock with too little allocation. Conviction without courage cripples compounding.

India vs Nvidia. A $3.5 trillion economy… yet its listed companies together are still valued less than a single chipmaker. Nvidia: $5.2T India: $4.97T The real question: are we underpriced… or underperforming where it matters most?

Today is the biggest single-day drop I’ve ever seen in my portfolio (in ₹ terms) The loss today equals: - My monthly salary - My entire portfolio size pre-COVID Absolute carnage - stocks, gold, ETFs… nothing spared. Portfolio down 2.7% A bit shaken, but still added more

Indian Real estate is in a bubble right now. Cities are becoming unliveable, and the more polluted and congested the city, the higher the house prices. Do you think this trend will reverse? Will houses become more affordable in the future?
