Union Minister CR Patil got suspended from Police Head Constable job for liquor sale. Then dismissed by Gujarat Police for being caught for liquor trade. Liquor is prohibited in Gujarat for past 70 years. Then he joined BJP & became President of Diamond CoOp Bank. Was in Jail for Rs.600 cr bank fraud. Got bail from SC on promise - he will deposit Rs.300 crore in 6 months. Again jail for keeping promise of bail condition. Next year he paid and released from 3 year jail life. Became BJP MP and in 2019 became BJP Gujarat State President. 2024 onwards Na Khaunga, Na Khane Doonga Modiji’s Cabinet Minister!

BRUTAL attacks by central forces under @AmitShah & @narendramodi on helpless citizens of Bengal. Citizens are being assaulted and attacked by central forces armed to the teeth. Details : 1) Booth No. 116 in the Satgachia Assembly constituency of South 24 Parganas, central forces reportedly launched an attack in the area, in which a two-and-a-half-year-old CHILD was badly injured.
2) At Booth No. 245 in the Udaynarayanpur Assembly constituency of Howrah, an 81-year-old man, Purnachandra Dolui, lost his life following an alleged attack by central forces.

Strategic benefits that are, at best, debatable.
Economic returns that remain unclear even on paper. For sake of Adani?
And all this while India is already facing record heat across regions. You cannot ignore the connection. Deforestation across India is not separate from the crisis - it is accelerating it.
Call it a “project” if you want. But the costs are immediate. The damage is permanent.
LOP Rahul Gandhi’s call for Indians to wake up and see what is happening matters. All sane Indians must speak up against this ecological disaster before it’s too late.

I travelled through Great Nicobar today. These are the most extraordinary forests I have ever seen in my life. Trees older than memory. Forests that took generations to grow. The people on this island are equally beautiful - both the adivasi communities and the settlers - but they are being robbed of what is rightfully theirs. The government calls what it is doing here a “Project.” What I have seen is not a project. It is millions of trees marked for the axe. It is 160 square kilometres of rainforest condemned to die. It is communities that have been ignored while their homes have been snatched away. This is not development. This is destruction dressed in development’s language. So I will say it plainly, and I will keep saying it: what is being done in Great Nicobar is one of the biggest scams and gravest crimes against this country’s natural and tribal heritage in our lifetime. It must be stopped. And it can be stopped - if Indians choose to see what I have seen.
