Dr. Harold "Hal" Saunders, who conceptualized the Sustained Dialogue process in intergroup conflicts, with David Bohm, one of the most influential scholars on dialogue, and Rob Lehman, board chair of the Fetzer Institute (undated photo, outside of NYC).

In the process they identified their own biases, took on varied perspectives, and thought carefully about how to lead in difficult circumstances.

The students worked in a thoughtful way through a case study dealing with a complex conflict related to religion, political speech, and differences in worldview.

A set of students, faculty and staff joined a facilitated community dialogue hosted by the Inclusive Leadership Certificate Program within the Stevens Institute School of Business in New Jersey.
