There have been many biodiversity wins and success stories (check out our ‘happy mondays’ stories highlight!) But there are many changes that need to be made on an individual, university and global level in order to protect biodiversity.

The biodiversity crisis and climate change means the need for conservation is only going to increase, emphasising the importance for this increased protection to be both effective and equitable.

Social injustice has been embedded into the foundations of biodiversity conservation.
