Today at stand up we heard from Paul on how his team has used waste reduction & mistake proofing on reducing reporting time & from Paula on how a waste walk identified wait states in the pressure ulcer incident response for moderate harms & how the PDSA cycle was utilised #UHCWi

At stand-up today we heard from Becky,Sharon,Donna, Marcus,Roxy,Lisa and Naomi about the power of 5s across the EM and Acute Medicine stores. Key takeaway - team engagement has cut the time searching for items - releasing more time to care #UHCWi

Cohorts 1-5 of the UHCW leaders programme came to celebrate this morning. Filled with pride to see the programme that we helped shape, has connected people and built a community of leaders spanning all over the hospital.

NHS Impact is a step in the direction of moving away from a failed approach in which we "improve" things regarded as less significant, but when something is really important we "performance manage" it. #QIhour #LeadingQI
