Resumes aren’t job histories, they’re value propositions.

I love the saying “to permit is to promote”. I’ve also learned, “to promote is to cement that person’s behavior as the gold standard”. Who you show love to (reward and elevate) in your company tells the rest of the company, “this is what it takes to win”. Proceed accordingly.

I may catch some heat for tweeting this, but resumes are played out. I don't think they give enough intel into how much value a person can add & how great they are. That's why I love to see job seekers use more online portfolios or personal websites to supplement their resumes.

No-meeting days are great, but have you tried no-video (audio-only) days?👌🏽

Why isn’t it common practice to talk salary *before* long interview processes? It wastes everyone’s time if you get to the end and salary is the determining factor.
