@CrapTheScraps @DandyDancy That might be an option! Or at least... Keep it somewhere where it won't bother anyone or where you can take better care of it! Rats carry all sorts of diseases and must be WELL CARED FOR!.

Well. The good news is that the kitchen is OK overall and we only lost (one) frying pan. The bad news is that we are BOTH permanently banned from the kitchen. Sorry Dyle. Sorry Sprout and Cosmo. Not apologizing to Dandy though.
