I’m really struggling with anxiety at the minute, which is making life hard. But today I not only left the house, I took part in a 10k run, and I’m super proud of myself! 😊

John Torode, the co presenter of BBC’s Masterchef apparently is being investigated for a “racist” comment he did not remember making to a person who was not offended, in a social situation 6 or 7 years ago! The world has gone crazy.

Today has not been a good day. People keep telling me I’m manic and have put me on the waiting list for a bed at the psych ward. On the plus side, I’m seeing my girlfriend soon, and I have my 100th parkrun in the morning, which I WILL complete!!!

I’ve popped into the Lighthouse Charity Shop, one of Valley CIDS’s charity shops that help fund youth and community projects across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire . After posting about my suicide attempt, I got told I needed to ‘give myself a kick up the butt’ cos I have no reason to be sad So just a reminder that mental illness doesn’t discriminate - it can affect anyone & people shouldn’t be guilted for being ill.
