As the most rural state in the nation, it's important that we take steps to ensure that all Mainers are able to benefit from clean energy investments. Honored to support this ambitious, game-changing plan as an @EfficiencyMaine board member.

Also like this article's subhead: "Astounding Heat Pump Successes." We should get this on a plaque outside of @EfficiencyMaine's offices.

At the beach. Separating raspberries for my neighbor. Getting my hair cut. In staff mtgs. Everywhere I go, I'm talking up @EfficiencyMaine's HPWH program. "60% of water heaters sold in Maine are heat pump water heaters. This is 30x the national number, which sits at just 2%."

Strong recognition of Efficiency Maine's heat pump and heat pump water heater programs from CleanTechnica. Read the article here: loom.ly/frCFVaE

Community-driven #broadband efforts in Maine have me wanting to re-make that Frank Sinatra song about "fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you..." Exciting story from my colleague, Kendra Jo Grindle, on the market transformation that can occur when communities lead.

If I've learned 1 thing over the past 13+ years, it's that the transition to clean energy can be HARD. Technically, financially & even emotionally. Even when high energy costs demand an alternative. Much respect to islanders grappling with the tough stuff. themainemonitor.org/isle-au-haut-a…

From sea level rise to shifting economic opportunities, island communities are often at the frontlines of climate change in the US. Looking forward to sharing this new policy framework in DC and beyond to bring attention to their unique climate resilience challenges and needs.

@brianMT Right?! I was a little young when it first came out but was still one of my early cassette tape purchases. Got to see them live in 2003 - with Vic Chestnutt! Perhaps we can send the kids off to shows together some day!

@brookswinner2 Sorry I missed it! What was your favorite part? Did your reference unicorns or tidal power?
