After lunch, IPA Inspector Alan Limb updated Cardiff Roadshow delegates on the IPA’s regulatory outlook for 2024. We then examined notable legal cases with Charlotte May and Andrew Murphy, Associate Directors at @ManoletePLC, after which Andrew Meech, Director at @jcpsolicitors and Undersherriff of West Glamorgan, and Barrister Govinder Chambay of @GuildhallLaw considered office holder immunity from future claims where a court approves their decision. We then finished the day with an update on @CompaniesHouse’s transformation and the #EconomicCrime and Corporate Transparency Act from Mark Buckley, Senior Implementation Lead at Companies House, followed by a session on @HMRCgovuk’s structure and services, #MVLs and #Tax clearance with Martin Tossell, Networks and Governance Lead at HMRC.
