Dear future Me: Never, ever, EVER use a crimping iron on a wig again (unless that character actually has crimped hair). 3 hours in and the bangs still need so much fixing to hide the ugly-ass texture alone 😭

Side note... I'm a little sad that my PQ2 fic apparently kinda flopped. It might just have been overshadowed by Premonition Chapter 2 being uploaded at the same time (which certainly is the better fic), but no reactions at all* is kinda brutal 🫣😂

It's one set during the Kyoto trip, but I can't decide whether I should keep the girls having caught the boys during the hot spring incident, because I recently tried the alternative route and I kinda dig it too? 🤔 (As in... a lot a lot)

The companion piece to my watercolour WIP will probably need a third rewrite becausw I can't seem to get the right mood/flow that I want, so my mind already is at re-writing/translating an old one again that I always wanted to add to my ao3 library.

Paperwork is more or less done, I'm down to one watercolour WIP and proofreading on Ch. 1 of the new fic is complete! Also, with the drafts for both adult timeline fics being almost at 100%, I am already thinking of what to write next 🤔

Not super-happy with the result (sketches weren't that good, lots of mistakes and just bc sketchbook paper CAN watercolour doesn't mean it SHOULD 🥲), but I still had fun with it and it's nice to see my adult Hamuko in colour! She will return in more competent pieces, hopefully!

Took forever, but here we are! ✨💕 Does the background look like I rolled it through the palette? Yes. Do I still kinda dig it? Also yes, in a weird way! Finally drawing an action scene was fun though even though there's still a lot I have to learn (especially about colours) 🎵

Pro tip to spare you the displeasure of having to learn this the way I had to learn: the border of a Shikishi can actually stain, thus potentially ruin your other artworks you keep in the same folder (🥲), so always get yourself some kind of plastic sleeve to put it in.

It's a bit hard to see in the photo, but this actually has some glitter ✨✨✨ Also, anyone who can guess what the colours in the background are supposed to represent gets a virtual cookie 🍪💕
