As a captain for one of the teams in this tournament, listening to this genuinely INFURIATES me. How annoying to have one of your players just outright refuse to listen and constantly bitch and moan about the hero they're assigned to play when you're trying to come up with team comps. I'm so glad my team doesn't have this issue. It's not even like we expect our players to put up some insane performance, just listen to the people who play the game and try your best to win. There's 300k on the line ffs, you're supposed to put in some effort!

Everytime someone tries to progressively be against fanservice or 'gooner' stuff it just looks back around to the conservative "woman should be fully covered" mentality. The First Descendant is a 'gooner' game, marvel rivals swimsuits are completely normal

@Charles39238864 @henryyyyy07 Blade thing iron fist are all strictly easier than DD because none of them require resource management or target priority to reset a cooldown. Every BnB DD combo is negated by simply healing your support (even self-healing), and as with all melee heroes he has infinite counters

@Suzune6771 @henryyyyy07 He's the easiest melee to play in this game because you can't ever miss whatever he does and the DMG is huge, he also generate lots of overshield while having an iframe that can save his ass from many situations If you played any other melee before U would see how easy DD is

@Syoraruuu @henryyyyy07 Your ult isn't like spider man ult where you just activate it in backline and get 2 unless you're brain-dead. You still need to play DD like his base kit to get value off his ult, with the added detriment of the entire team looking at you.

@Suzune6771 @henryyyyy07 Im almost champion with DD but saying all this seems unfair. Half of this is correct but he can easily farm ult charge by playing frontline against certain comps, and is hard to punish due to his deflect, grapple and damage reduction. But it’s true that he’s healthy for the game.

@Cordeeeeee The top tier characters aren't necessarily 'fun' to play into, but strange isn't kidnapping you like Dino wolv Angela bucky spidey etc and leading to really cheap deaths. DD is strong but you can atleast interact with him and punish his decisions, he's also has a high skill floor

@Cordeeeeee If widow could one tap you from anywhere on the map she would be the #1 character in the game. If storm was meta then whoever's storm died first loses the teamfight.

What exactly do you mean by “healthy”

@abdursolos @henryyyyy07 You need to use additional resources as DD to keep going through healing and even them if supports actively turn to heal eachother it becomes exponentially more difficult to get picks. Dive is in such a weak state because it's existence demands skill and attention

@abdursolos @henryyyyy07 Even then he doesn't his breakpoints are fragile his BnD dies to luna self heal, invis shield/jump, gambit dashes, rocket, Jeff swim, etc etc. Dive is such a fragile archetype compared to characters like phoenix and hela who don't use resources to keep shooting you

@EnchantedWitchB @henryyyyy07 Burst dmg is numbers not kit design Brawl/dive needs sustain so overhealth is fair You literally cannot button mash you will mess up your Fury Deflect doesn't generate any health, long CD, small angle too, easy to hit from sides

@Suzune6771 @henryyyyy07 Free wall hacks that used to be 65 meters when I checked when he first came out, literally counters a handful of characters by simply existing, just button mashing, a deflect that blocks everything in the game,free overhealth for just doing dmg,burst dmg is also insane.

@NCNancy257827 @darwellom @imperatorfps @WarnTV Namor squid placement is unironically the most skill intensive ability between him, phoenix, cy, and hela, and even then you can get value just throwing them on the floor behind your tanks. Hitscan just isn't a hard role

They're both pure aim, even hela has an easy kit and arguably easiest ult of all 3 of them. All hitscan characters have minimal skill expression bar elsa

Unbiased opinion on @WarnTV and team Canada. You guys lost the entire tournament the moment Shroud got replaced for FanFan, your best bet was to run Dokibird + Aramori on support, Shroud + Surefour on DPS and Warn on an easy shield tank like mag/strange and XQC on groot. You guys will never win anything with 3 support mains and no GEM. The GEM of canada was Shroud and he couldn't make it therefore you are UNLUCKY with the creators/timing, NOT because of Warn. Same goes for Team UK, heavily weakened team would love to give NetEase guidance on who to replace Canada players & UK players with for next time.
