I spoke to a Halo 5 dev who confirmed that 343 Industries created a cool roadmap to continue H5’s story but decided to drop the story because of negative reactions from Halo fans. This includes The Guardians, which would’ve had a much bigger role in a post H5 world. But the reactions towards Guardians were “so negative the narrative team tried to wrap it up as quickly as they could.”

The cast & I got to meet and hang out with a bunch of the Digsite crew in Seattle for HCS. They are by far some of the coolest & most dedicated ppl in the Halo community I've had the honor of meeting. The fact MS won't pay them for the insane work they do is beyond infuriating.

Well, all the Halo Digsite stuff leaked. FAQ: -I nor any of the recent Digsite departures did this -Personally don't care if modders use anything here how they see fit, MS might not agree -Some is old WIP (i.e. H2E3 work is at least 6 months old) so check official releases first
