We had a great time at our institute's New Year's Get-Together yesterday! Several rounds of Eisstockschießen (ice stock sport) were followed by dinner, a pub quiz, and lots of table tennis!

🆕Our colleagues show systemic antibiotics for #periodontitis shift the oral #microbiome, affecting outcomes. A healthy microbiome is key: without it, benefits are limited, and similar results may occur without antibiotics if balance is restored. DOI: 10.1186/s40168-024-01945-3

At #DGEpi2023 today, our own @EpiBreze of @uni_muenster presented results about contact behaviour during #COVID19 based on vaccination and infection status using data from the #COVIMOD and @Helmholtz_HZI MuSPAD studies. 👬💉🤒
