Vi har en oppositionsledare för det iranska folket på besök i Sverige, men i pressrapporteringen finns inga uppgifter om att han träffar någon minister från regeringen. Hur är det möjligt, när UD-representanter nyligen deltog i firandet av den iranska revolutionen på regimens ambassad? En borgerlig utrikespolitik får aldrig tveka i valet mellan demokrati och diktatur. Den ska stå tydligt på frihetens sida, inte signalera undfallenhet mot en blodig islamistisk regim. Därför borde det vara en självklarhet för regeringen att träffa Reza Pahlavi. Sverige ska ge sitt stöd till det iranska folk som just nu kämpar för sin frihet mot en av världens mest brutala diktaturer.
