It took me more than 10 years to finally visit Craven Cottage, but almost 2 more to finally sit down and edit this video. Today I finally did it, so I can share with you one of the best days of my life. A year later I came back to attend my first match at the Cottage, but this was where it all started. First of all, thank you! And secondly, I can only imagine how special that must be for a lifelong Fulham fan, especially if you’re from the ’80s like me. One of the things that drew me to this amazing club wasn’t just the football, but its people. One of the best experiences of my life—and where I made a great friend—happened the first time I visited Craven Cottage (I’ll make a post about that soon). My girlfriend and I were genuinely amazed by how everyone treated us. It confirmed something I’ve believed ever since: The best part of Fulham FC is its people. 🤍🖤

I now have three different versions of this shirt. My retail version, a Calvin Bassey match-issued and signed shirt, and a Jorge Cuenca match-worn and signed shirt. They deserved a proper thread: the old crest, the inspiration behind the kit and the story of each one. 🧵 #FFC

That’s such a lovely story. Football shirts are amazing because they become attached to memories that last a lifetime! I’ve got a few full player-worn kits too, as well as loads of worn training gear, shorts and shirts. I’m going to take some photos wearing them — the ones that actually fit me 😬 You don’t look like a wanker at all hahaha, you look great!

Ara Bedrossian. What a player made his Fulham Debut in 1993 against Bolton became a clut hero pretty quickly. He has worked as a academy coach for Arsenal and Liverpool since retiring in 2002.

And finally, mine. The standard retail version, no nameset or patches. I love the green and navy combination, but the embroidered old crest is what makes it for me. It probably shouldn’t work this well, but it does. #ffc

Then the best one: Jorge Cuenca’s match-worn #15 from Newcastle away on 17 December 2025, in the Carabao Cup quarter-final. He played the full match, with Fulham losing 2-1 to a stoppage-time winner. Bad ending. Very special shirt to have in the collection. As collecto I love the back sponsor wich isn’t allowed in the Premier league. #ffc
