Today is International Earth Day. This year's theme is #InvestInOurPlanet. Our suppliers have to meet our sustainability and ethical standards – from the washing powder we use, to the chocolate we sell in the shop. The food we sell is locally sourced and organically grown too.

The winter work on the farm right now is coppicing. During this year’s cut, we're embarking on the restoration of a truly ancient hornbeam and oak wood boundary bank. Restoring these truly ancient trees is a bit heart-in-mouth, but if it results in new growth it's a huge win!
