Goals from Gibbo, Rutter, Willo and a 45 yarder from David Bond sealed the victory. @hornseatownvets keeper their best player pulling off a number of saves. Penalty save from @TheRetiredCat towards the end confirmed the clean sheet for Swanny.

RESULT - Swanny Vets 4-0 Hornsea. Another clean sheet and comfortable victory in the end. @hornseatownvets offered little going forward considering they are league top scorers. #stillunbeaten

GAME DAY!!! (Finally!!) We get our season underway today after 6 months of “preparation”! First game is a tasty one facing St Peters. Somehow avoided each other last season but there’s no hiding today...

Goals from Gibbo, Rob Prime and Pete Wilson in a close first half ending 3-2. Second half goals from Paul Abbot, Wilson and a 30 yard lob from Majorcan cameo Phil Cawthra put the game beyond Park.

Great first run out for the vets today. Friendly vs Park Athletic. Tough Division One opponents but came out on top. Fantastic performance saw a 6-2 victory. #stillunbeaten
