Just finished watching Louis Theroux’s new documentary on the Manosphere.
What jumps out is just how insecure the bro-influencers he interviews are.
For all their bravado, they spend the entire time worrying about how to answer even the most basic of questions, and getting flustered when they doubt whether their answers will make them appear emasculated.
It’s also striking how uninteresting and one-note their lives seem to be. Beyond gym, cars, crypto and girls, these men have no meaning to their lives.
Even their way their rental apartments all look the same, glossy but empty, speaks volumes.
Another outstanding piece of documentary making from LT.
