After dozens(-ish) of requests, here’s how to set up a Personal Automation to trigger 100% brightness/airplane mode/do not disturb on opening @FilmicPro. I had to cut down & speed up a 5min video to fit it onto Twitter, hence the music change 😬 Also, you need the Shortcuts app.

@Sweeney_Peter Hi Peter, would like to know your view after watching the RTÉ documentary on the New Gaels. I see they are all country players on it. Its a different story in Dublin. Our U15 team 3 years ago had 4 African lads who have now left the team after constant abuse.

One of the most enjoyable days I ever had in work was cycling a bit of the Barrow Way on a sunny summer’s evening with Turlough O’Brien, who today stepped down as a Carlow manager. A thoroughly decent human being.

I got to know Barney Rock over the years through work. He’s a total gent. He dropped me a text today just to see how I was getting on with all that’s happening. Even at my age to get a text like that off your childhood idol is some thrill!
