I’m healing from this double pneumonia like a goddamn war of attrition...slow, brutal. My lungs have been compromised since an incident four years ago, scarred and stubborn. To rip a hyper-active force like me off the battlefield and chain me to this bed for damn near 24 hours a day? That’s not recovery. That’s murder. Slow, psychological, soul-crushing murder. I feel it in my bones...the rage, the lethal patience it takes to stay still when every cell screams to move. I am recalibrating, sharpening the blade in the dark. I’m going to become something even more unforgiving. Deadlier than before. Zero fucks given. That's my update. It's going to be a while before I am back to normal. In the meantime... I'm in iron clad bitch mode just to fucking get through this period of inactivity. Being weak is not my forte. I'd rather be dead than physically weak. 💀

I'm sorry Kate. I am 54 as well. Our generation was heavily influenced for women to get out into a career and work that grind. Abortion was still a bit taboo for us,but movies began to plug it in as acceptable paving the way to where we are now. It was never a badge of honor with Gen X. In fact often it brought about deep regrets or shame. The women celebrating it are morally and spiritually lost. I hope you're able to surround yourself with children in some manner. They definitely bring a special energy.

A woman is currently going viral after bragging online about how much she has accomplished in life because of her abortion. Ma’am, this only magnifies how self-righteous and sociopathic you are. As a father of 5, there is nothing you can experience on Earth that comes even remotely close to being a parent. You traded the most amazing life path possible for some Airbnb’s and a couple of flings in Europe. Lol Massive L. When you are 45, ran through, no longer attractive, and surrounded by your 13 cats, I hope the burden weighs heavy. Ask any parent. I wouldn’t trade what I have for any college degree, excursion, or career path.

Very Interesting debate. I just replied back to The Sting with 5 reasons why the film deserves to be watched. Now I’m second guessing. Most of my points were about the style, glamour of the film. But I think my 5th point is good… i never read the book… was there something about her being a prostitute? Oh… I guess that is another conversation… That said… I believe it’s an “historical film” … nevertheless I believe The Sting should watch it. 😊😊😊

@TheStingisBack This film is basically famous because of Hepburn’s iconic photo. The movie itself is a bore. The party scene tries too hard to be funny & falls flat. I’m very forgiving of sins made in the past in film but the Mickey Rooney character is grotesque even for its time. And I hate Cat

MOVIES I’VE NEVER SEEN #13 Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard Is it truly an iconic “must-see”? Or is it better left in the past? Should I watch? Convince me: YES or NO—and why.

Hey… good to see you in my feed… I haven’t seen you in a while… 😊 Yes… definitely yes… I would say to see it for many reasons: 1. I live on busy 57th Street here in Manhattan and the opening scene is breathtaking. It must have been shot at like 5 am… I will leave it at that… 🥰 2. She keeps cosmetics like perfume and lipstick in her brownstone mailbox… 3. The music is kinda nice… brings you back to another era… 4. Oh, Audrey was such an elegant and classy lady… 5. The film is more than it seems.. for example… I thought the film “No Reservations” starring the great Catherine Zeta-Jones was going to be just a “chick flick”…but it had much more depth than that.. same as the original “Mostly Martha”… I learned a lesson in life… give things a try… 🤷‍♀️👍❤️😊 I hope you enjoy it! 😊👍

Today is a special day! 31 years ago I became a mother for the first time. It’s my son’s birthday today. His name is Keenan and he is the only man in the world that I will love unconditionally forever. He saved my life in countless ways. He’s become a man I admire. He’s a great father, husband and entrepreneur.

I love Stevie… she has such a unique voice… I guess Stevie is an acquired taste… (?) 🤷‍♀️I mentioned Ann Wilson in a reply just now… ❤️ Funny how people seem to forget her… maybe the record company didn’t market/ manage Heart in the best way? I also love Debbie Harry… maybe it’s not always who has the biggest range but just plain what makes the listener happy? Debbie Harry just popped into my mind because I read someplace that she didn’t think her record label was aggressive enough in marketing the band. Her record label was Chrysalis 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
