Kicking off 2026 with $74,278.31 and a simple goal: use X to help beat the S&P 500 over time. Up about $2k to start the year off. Long-term focused, but not afraid to trade when it makes sense. Adding $2,000/month — $1K added and invested today. No followers (yet). Just showing up consistently and tracking the journey. 50 yrs old. Sold my entire personal portfolio in 2024 to build a larger home. Retirement accounts still intact. Now rebuilding the personal account from scratch. Let’s see what disciplined investing + transparency can do. Getting after it. 💪📈

@anymanfitness Can't you do both. Became wealthy while driving a Camry. Upgraded to a BMW a while later. It's all about waiting until the cost of the upgrade has a net effect of less than your last car on your wealth.

@NUCLRGOLF Yeah, not a good take. They left for a competitor. Which they had the right to do. Does not matter in this situation how the PGA tour treated their players or compensated their players; they don't owe a player that left their league anything.

🚨⛳️🗣️ #WATCH — Stephen A. Smith UNLOADS on the PGA (Tour): “It was their taking golfers for granted that forced the existence of LIV to begin with…” + “I don’t want to hear anything about punishment, they should be embraced.” Do you agree with Stephen?

@NUCLRGOLF He's right. Tiger Woods can play in a tournament and bring millions and millions to the event bc of his presence but if he misses the cut he doesn't see a dime. Nobody in this chat works a job where they make a company money but don't get paid for it... unless its charity work.

@PGATOUR MY PGA TOUR PROPOSAL Change the signature events to only Genesis, Arnold and Memorial at 650 points, Players 700 points, Majors 750 points, all other tournaments 500. FedEx The 3 signature events include 90 players with a cut at 56 and ties; The Players field and cut as usual. Points total based on your best 14 finishes. Juice the playoff payouts and significance. Give players the freedom to choose their schedule, knowing they will all show up for the Genesis, Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players, and Memorial. Between those events, the majors, and the playoffs, that’s all fans really need in terms of consistently seeing the top players compete together. The issue is not that there are too many tournaments overall. The product becomes diluted when too many tournaments are labeled as “must-watch” or elevated in significance. By counting only a player’s top 14 finishes, players gain flexibility in building their schedule while still needing to adjust based on performance throughout the season. That’s why every tournament should still have a cut. This system would naturally favor top players because they already have access to the biggest events, which would make up 8 of the 14 counting tournaments. At the same time, it would not shut out players from outside the top tier who are performing well enough to earn their way in. There’s also no need to remove additional tournaments beyond what has already happened with the Hawaiian swing. Most importantly, this would help solve the current “A Tour vs. B Tour” problem. The separation would still exist through the majors, playoffs, and elevated events, but the PGA Tour would still feel like one unified tour built around meritocracy.

$META down nearly 10%. This stock is exhausting but it's not like it won't pull through in the long run.

@GrahamStephan Putting all that aside. A wealth tax is not a tax, it's a plain and simple money grab from the rich. Based on nothing else than being rich. Where are the no kings people on this one.

Roughly 220 billionaires reside in California. They employ roughly 10 million people. If a wealth tax passes, everyone with a billion-dollar idea will think twice about whether they want to build that business in California. But that isn’t even the most dangerous part. When this turns out to raise less money than expected, the bar will be lowered to $100 million. Then $50 million. Then $10 million. Then $1 million. They’ll call it “the millionaire tax.” And since ~80% of the California population isn’t a millionaire, they’ll vote it into existence because “it doesn’t affect them.” But many of those “millionaires” are providing jobs. Housing. Innovation. Buying products and services. They’re a net economic benefit. If you discourage them from living in California, they will leave. Then it becomes a downward spiral where they have to tax everyone else to stay afloat. Not saying the system is perfect. But a simpler solution might simply be: spend less money and encourage more people to move back / create a billion dollar idea.

@KVanValkenburg For those of us there were around from the beginning, watched golf pre-Tiger, and then during Tiger, it really is unexplainable how incredible it was. Golf was so impossibly hard due to the ball and equipment at the start of his run it was like seeing majic in front of your eyes.

$NVDA acting like this is only the beginning of a long run. No reason why you can't own $NVDA and $AMD at the same time.
