Seeing the IHSA State qualifiers in the 100 back really hits. I’ve raced most of these guys for years: HS and club meets, State, Futures, and Juniors. A lot of respect. As a senior, getting one more shot to line up with them this weekend means everything. Grateful for the journey

What a season. From high school meets to Futures, this year was packed with moments I’ll never forget. New PBs, cut times, and some amazing opportunities to race at meets like Speedo Sectionals, TYR Futures, Illinois Seniors and the Duel in the Pool with Team Illinois. I got to compete with and learn from some of the fastest swimmers out there, met cool people, and witnessed a lot of positive, heartwarming moments that reminded me why I love this sport. I’ve grown a lot this season. In and out of the pool. Thanks to my @reachaquatics coaches and teammates. Couldn’t have done it without you. Now it’s time for a bit of vacation and rest, then it’s back to training. Eyes on Speedo Winter Juniors, Illinois HS State, and NCSA Nationals. And of course, the biggest step ahead: finding the right college to call home. Grateful for the journey so far and excited for what’s next.
