$SPX - The attempt to close above the 200 day MA has failed. Even if it closes above the 200 DMA it won't be enough to confirm a Friday bottom. Last year before the "Liberation Day" crash it closed above the 200 DMA on March 24 and 25. An invalidation of further downside into April will happen only in case of a weekly close above the 40 week MA(~6660).

EXACT POINTS REACHED - as mentioned in my above post on 10-Mar - Perfect Swing Gems💎💎 Yesterday touched 655, and Today bottoming at 645 .. 🎯🎯🎯 Expecting a short term bottom here !!

The bounce seems more like a retracement rather than recovery. If that is true, we may touch at least SPY 657/655, and likely 645/642.

Something to keep in mind this trading week. Can be gambler’s fallacy, can be trader’s alpha. Regardless, here it is: $SPX last 8 Thursdays closed red. $SPX last 4 Fridays closed red. Streaks are meant to be broken eventually. Is the eventually this week?

@SwingGems We won't see any rally before 6200.

The NYSE and $SPX advance-decline lines topped in late February. There was no divergence at the top(an A-D line top before the S&P 500 top). Prior to every 4 year or 7 year cycle high in the past except one, the NYSE A-D line topped before the S&P 500. The only exception was 1994 which was the mildest decline ever into a 4 year cycle low with a 9.7% drawdown. In 1994 SPX topped in late January and bottomed in early April but it didn't make a new ATH for the rest of year. I expect a similar mild decline into a 4 year cycle low in 2026 with a downside target of 6100-6200.

@CyclesFan I think we have bottomed today .. at least for short term.

$QQQ - Today's action has changed my expectations for a bottom this week. The bullish outcome was eliminated given the weekly close below the 200 day MA and break of the November low, which means that QQQ made a major top in October. The downtrend is likely to continue into April and reach the August low at 551.

@Mr_Derivatives We probably drift today and bottom (VIX top) tomorrow ! Confluence of many factors ..
