A brilliant morning @SwintonFitz Children and families explored Volcanoes for our Family Learning session today. We developed our art and craft skills to design and create a Volcano, then we added a range of simple ingredients to make it erupt. #fabulousfamilies #funatschool

This week in #eyfs, our little learners explored #creativity and imaginative play! They collaborated to build Elsa's castle, developing #problem-solving skills, while dressing up as Kristoff and Sven sparked role play adventures #LearningThroughPlay #ImaginationInAction

Earlier this week, our children came back to school for our annual Winter’s Tale event. They turned up in their PJs; enjoyed hot chocolate and a treat; and listened to our favourite Christmas stories. What a perfect way to start December. 🎄

This week, our EYFS children have been immersed in the vibrant celebration of Diwali! They explored the festival of lights by creating beautiful rangoli patterns, crafting their own diyas. #EYFS #Diwali #LearningThroughPlay #FestivalOfLights #EarlyYears

Our EYFS had their first family reading session this week. The start of many where we will share our love of books! #readingforpleasure #eyfs

We ended the first week back with a harvest celebration and craft competition organised by our wonderful PTA! Father Barley had a difficult time picking the winners from each phase. Huge well done to everyone who entered! 🍁🍂

A very successful skipping festival last week 👏🏻

Our Y5/6s enjoyed taking part in the Utilita Cup! They had a great day and they worked so well together. Well done on being great ambassadors for Fitz. ⚽️

Our Y6s played their best this week at the Barlow -Salmons cup. Unfortunately, we lost but they did score 4 impressive goals! Well done for showing resilience and sportsmanship! You made us proud! ⚽️ @TottyCup

Our Y6s loved the residential to Crowden last week. They took part in abseiling, canoeing, weaselling and they even had energy left to party in the evening!
