No shot clock in HS basketball in some states is absolute chaos. NJ state final games are in the 30’s. This is not real basketball. No league in the world operates like this.

IMO - Not sure if this is a hot take? Watching a player in a HS game is not always a good indicator of college success. Many are asked to do things in a HS game they wont be asked to do in a college game. A high-level AAU game is probably a much better predictor #MakeShots

@TerryBattenberg @CoachHackGO Same. I do some shooting drills that are goal oriented that are the same to see improvement over the course of a season.

@CoachHackGO I did that, in a rotating fashion. Never the same drill or approach two days in a row. I usually mapped it out in my pre weekly practice planner. Selected a couple of particulars each day like: passing, dribbling, pivoting, footwork (D &O), etc.

Fundamentals. Every day.

But people will never mention that first. What is mentioned first, is that we were great kids, did things the right way, and always supported the future. Majority of these guys are teachers, lawyers, doctors, officers and now fathers…. Couldn’t be happier for the future.
