Ein Tag im Zeichen der Bildungszusammenarbeit Schweiz-China 🇨🇭🇨🇳. Es war mir eine Ehre, heute den chinesischen Bildungsminister Huai Jinpeng in Bern zu empfangen. Wir sind uns einig, dass eine gut gebildete Bevölkerung die Basis ist für Wohlstand und sozialen Fortschritt.

🇨🇭 was proud to take part in the “Semaine de la Francophonie” at LFIP Beijing! Swiss pupils & families, with support from the Embassy & Swiss Club, hosted a 🇨🇭 stand featuring culinary specialties and showcasing 🇨🇭–🇨🇳 cooperation on climate & disaster risk reduction.

New🇨🇭Ambassador to 🇨🇳 Krystyna Marty met with Shanghai’s Top Foreign Affairs Official Ma Yinghui & the Mayor of Nantong. The Ambassador viewed Swiss Watch & Art exhibitions & engaged in lively exchanges with the🇨🇭business community at roundtables & on company visits in Shanghai.

On 16 January, Ambassador of Switzerland to China Krystyna Marty Lang, presented her credentials to President Xi Jinping in Beijing, marking the start of her mandate.

Today, Switzerland observes a National Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of the tragic fire that occurred on 1 January in Crans-Montana. Our thoughts are with all those impacted, in Switzerland and beyond.

In the aftermath of the tragedy in Crans-Montana, our thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, with all those still awaiting news of their loved ones, and with those in Switzerland working tirelessly in response.

Together with students from Nanjing University, the Sino-Swiss 0-Carbon Building delegation visited pilot sites in Taixing, Wuxi, Shaoxing and Shanghai, and later joined a forum in Hangzhou to share insights and practice. Building a 0-carbon future together. 🇨🇭🤝🇨🇳🌿
