Perhaps you know Colville Road in Kampala. It is named in fond remembrance of this British soldier, Col. Henry E. Colville, for commanding the operation that led to the capture and exile of Omukama Kabaleega and Kabaka Mwanga in 1899 - finally marking the end to armed anti-colonial resistance in Uganda.
