As a mutual stated, Sonic and Silver are quite alike (but not quite each other). It's a point in Sonic '06. They are mistaken for, parallel, and bleed into one another FOR. A. REASON.
If it were a spectrum, Silver is in between Blaze and Sonic.

Another issue I have is many of y'all make Sonic into Silver (justice-oriented, wants to be hero, dynamic as opposed to static, can be reckless-naive but is offset by others) then leave Silver as some bumbling Cinnabon sweet thing with Amy expressiveness. So yeah, no. He's not.

Silver is largely defined by his hope, optimism, and determinism. It takes a lot for his hope to suffer, like Iblis constantly coming back with no relief or change. When that happens, it gives more way to frustration and aggression? Not gloom, surrender, bumbling, or whimpiness.

The expressions seem foreign on his face and it's not the dynamic he has with Blaze, but moreover the fanon one I find annoying. Blaze and Silver are [supposed] to be complementary and a team (see the switch-in-and-out playthrough), not Blaze doing things for a whimpy Silver.
