I noticed EdgeX on @opinionlabsxyz . Honestly, the only thing I want to advise is to be careful with this project. They had a winter campaign for content creators on X, where $500,000 and a large amount of tokens were allocated as rewards. The project never stated anywhere that in order to receive the prizes, participants needed to trade on their platform at the same time. I want to emphasize that the campaign was specifically for content creation, and the funds were allocated for content. In the end, about 90% of English-speaking Twitter writers received nothing, while most of the rewards were distributed to Asian farmers who were active on their platform. So friends, if you’re farming this project, be careful

i’ll explain the situation once so people understand what happened for those who didn’t know, i held Adept role in @magicblock. there were only 10 people with this role. it represents embers who take charge of an interest-focused group (art, gaming, dev, etc.), steering it and keeping it active. i was responsible for art side. getting Adept role wasn’t something that happened overnight. it took me 10 months of consistent contributions to reach that role. it was a long path of building, creating and helping the community grow. i had no formal obligations, no contract, no requirements. but for 11 weeks straight i created "MagicBlock Community Arts Collection." every week i reviewed community contributions, highlighted talented artists, and built a collection in notion so no one’s work went unnoticed. this takes time and effort. sometimes @16vivz (community manager at magicblock) even highlighted my posts in spotlight as a valuable contribution. and the day before yesterday, march 11, i logged into the project and noticed my role was gone. Viv didn’t even bother to message me beforehand or explain the situation before removing the role. that alone shows how little the work and contributions i made were valued. after waiting almost a full day for an answer, i was told: “you’re not active enough so i decided to remove the role.” instead, i was given Apprentice (l1) role, a role usually given to people with around 20 posts and about a month on the server. that’s where the disconnect happens. i’ve been contributing to this project for about a year: • 30+ pfps drawn manually by me for the community • all discord role icons were drawn by me • articles and posts, for example like this: x.com/m4lkxx/status/… with very high engagement • i was top 3 on mb leaderboard stats magicianshub.xyz (currently top 8) • participated in missions • i launched wave of challenges (there is now even a dedicated channel for them) • constant communication with Viv, we even had open ticket since august 2025 discussing ideas and improvements for the project • 11 consecutive weeks of community art collections without missing a single one i was even moving recently, and still continued contributing. and role just got purged without even a message. that’s the part that feels absurd. i’m here on volunteer basis, helping build the community, and i’d say quite successfully. instead of basic respect or even a conversation, role just gets quietly purged. some people will say, “bro you just need to work harder.” my answer is simple. i worked exactly the same way for the past 2–3 months lol. my task was clear: highlight talented artists and support the art side of the community. that’s exactly what i did. everything else was never part of my responsibilities. i wasn’t paid. i had no contract. this was purely volunteer work. so yes, technically Viv can do whatever she wants. but that doesn’t make it human. someone who has followed the project for 3 years, contributed content for about a year, participated in presale, stayed through dead market, and actively helped build the community. and this is how it ends. so draw your own conclusions. personally, i’m not going to tolerate that.
