@Syanidure Still cannot comment on TVL, but as book fan S01E01 feels like the strongest episode of the first two seasons, and that's actually quite a flaw 😭

So, in 01x01, we had - the setup and background - a full understanding of Louis’s life and the dynamics with his family -the meeting with Lestat and their first months together -Louis transformation All that without rush and in ONE episode. I'm sorry, there's no excuses. #TVL

And I'm really curious to know the difference of budget between IWTV S1 and TVL. Is it really that big? I really didn't care about the wolves, I wasn't expecting something elaborate. But everything else seems just... so cheap in comparison.

Almost every spoiler clip I've seen so far about TVL makes me laugh, which is promising cuz I do love to laugh, but it also makes me terribly sad because Rola Jones is adapting gothic horror but the end product looks more like splatter comedy 😭

i enjoyed this episode but i will say the pacing + wigs in auvergne left a lot to be desired but i'm not actually that pressed they didn't spend a long time on it considering the actual amount of pages in the book vs everything else.
