Advanced copy of Joshua Hren's (of @WisebloodBooks) latest volume "More Than a Matter of Taste", published by Luminor (@WordOnFire). Hren writes gracefully on "the moral imagination & the spirit of literature." A wonderful read that is highly recommended to our followers.

This is a masterclass on why China is rising and the United States is decaying: “In America, you can change the political parties but you can’t change the policies. Billionaires in America control all policy making. China is a vibrant market economy but it is not capitalist. Billionaires in China can’t control policy and capital does not have enshrined rights. In America, capital itself has risen above the nation. In the last 66 years China is being run by one single party, yet the political changes that have taken place have been wider and broader and greater than any other country in modern history.” This is why it is far better to have one party that serves the people than two parties that both serve corporations and billionaires.

The Spectator
The Spectator@spectator·
Powell always said – entirely honestly – that he never made a speech about race: just speeches about immigration policy and his profound disagreement with how it was usually managed. In the Birmingham speech, he had explicitly quoted the words and detailed some experiences of his constituents in Wolverhampton South-West. His argument was not rooted in a racist idea of the inferiority of other cultures – Powell was sufficiently intelligent and experienced to know such thoughts were idiotic – but in an idea of the dangers of imposing upon some communities a culture unlike the one that had always prevailed there. It was a speech, as he clearly said, about the failure to achieve integration across the country. Unfortunately for him, that was a part of the speech to which few chose to listen. ✍️ Simon Heffer Article | spectator.com/article/its-ti…

Whenever some woke "charity" sales rep tries to fleece me for money to preserve a "rare species" of frog or fish or moss, making out that the loss of a three spotted swallow in a world of four spotted ones is an existential crisis - I think of this: x.com/HybridWarfareX…
Hybrid Warfare 🇸🇪@HybridWarfareX

Sverige 1986🇸🇪

It's a pattern. In the Cold War the CIA ignored right wing and conservative opponents of the communist regime in Poland, and instead funded the labour union movement headed by a guy who was eventually exposed as a commie plant the whole time.
Will Tanner@Will_Tanner_1

During the Cold War, the CIA sided with the communists in Indochina to force out the French in favor of Ho Chi Minh, then worked closely with the communist allied and supported Mugabe and Nkomo to destroy free and functional Rhodesia and implement communism

We are rediscovering truths via simple social observation, which the ancients knew intuitively, and which were once acknowledged by men of science but soon forgotten by progressive ideologues. A selection of books every reactionary should have on the shelf:

‘Power and control must always be co-located with the party that is accountable for the security of the future generations. If “girl-dollars” and “girl-time” are primarily for “self-care”, then power must only be purchasable via “boy-dollars” and “boy-time”.’

🚨 106-Year-Old ANZAC Memorial Digger Statue Beheaded, Rifle Stolen 🚨 A memorial erected by the residents of Ebbw Vale to show their appreciation for the gallant soldiers on their return, and to honour those who fell, has been violently desecrated. The nation-forming people, British-descended Australians, are the only group in Australia consistently subjected to attacks on their heritage with little to no action taken.
