@SylarRB ya so its a issue that people in the community have realized, fortnite is forcing east players to play on central servers making it so we are on higher ping. and every time somone says something they says its a internet issue but its just servers and you cant fix it saddly.

Is there anyone who could assist me with checking into my high ping issues/internet optimization on Fortnite? We used to average 35-40 on east. Now averaging 80-90. Great internet speeds and the only thing we’ve changed is our modem and updated the firmware on our router.

@FortniteStatus over a month has gone by with this issue still persisting. shows 23ms in the game settings. once we are in a game ping is at a consistent 80-90. i’ve tried everything at this point.

PLEASE @Fortnite fix the bunkers in OG zero build so they’re actually usable 😤 @FortniteStatus

@FortniteStatus Insane ping issues right now and the past few week. Great internet stats just horrible ping spikes up to 400 when normally we get 35-40. Please advise as the game has been unbearable lately.

@FortniteStatus unfortunately that did not work. it seems to be an issue that quite a few people are happening. in game shows 24-25ms on East Servers but in game it’s been anywhere from 70-90, and spiking up to 400.

@SylarRB Try disabling your Firewall to see if that helps 📶: 1. Click on Start 2. Go to Control Panel 3. Go to System & Security 4. Click on Windows Firewall 5. Turn Windows Firewall off If that doesn't work, let us know and turn your Firewall back on to protect your PC
