Consoles make up 73% of AC sales. PC is only 27%. 2. Crimson Desert is multiplatform. My wife is playing on PS5 RN. 3. Steam is the largest single platform for AC sales on PC, Ubisoft themselves confirm this. We could reasonably infer that Crimson Desert is matching if not exceeding AC Shadows numbers. Both hit 2 million players fast but we have no real way of knowing how either performs On Console, because Microslop and Sony won't publish actual figures. Crimson Desert, a muktiplatform game, hit 239k peak on Steam while thr established multiplatform AC Shadows only hit 65k. 4. The player retention rate is absolutely abysmal for AC on Steam. It dropped 70% fast - Shadows had a sharper drop off than past titles like Origins (49%) or Odyssey (50%). Shadows was at best average for the franchise overall. It was above average in how quickly it lost players compared to previous titles. 5. The stunningly unprecedented and overwhelming success of Assassin's Creed Shadows didn't turn Ubisoft around financially. They are still posting losses every quarter despite restructuring and doing everything in their power to stay afloat. 6.Review bombing goes both ways, and determining whether or not a game is good is 50-70% a matter of subjectivity. The only thing that actually matters for success are player retention numbers. 6. You are Dutch. You are automatically disqualified from having a valid opinion, bedweter.
