“what’s wrong with a little bit of chaos every now and again!” SS/MV/AU

She misses it too. Life has been too busy.

That’s okay, she’s here for all her family. Always.

Intuitive sister hug to make her feel better.

“Yeah…I get that. HYDRA kept us on schedules, missions. We didn’t have a moment to be bored. I’m still getting used to it too.”

“She better be treating you well. But you still don’t seem…happy. What’s going on?”

Hazel takes a breath. “That’s true…but would that have been so terrible?” She shakes her head. “Wow, I think I just killed the mood. Let me change the subject. How have you been?”

“You’re probably right. I just don’t like not knowing, not being in control of what could happen. It’s frustrating.”

“Well, I guess, but I don’t trust anyone. And at the time I had powers and fought better than a group of ten men. He’s just a boy.”

“Yeah. I just worry. It’s harder for me to protect him if he’s in school. What if there’s a shooter or a raid? How am I supposed to protect him?”

“Oh, right. Sorry, I should have remembered that.” Hazel sighs. “I don’t even know why specific help I need at this time. I never really went to school, how do I prepare him for it?”

“I’ll never say no, unless we’re sick. I’ve been considering taking him training with me. He’s growing so fast I need to make sure he’s ready. I’ve also been told that I can’t homeschool him since I don’t have a GED or high school diploma. I have to prepare him for school too.”

“Well, I haven’t been working. I haven’t needed to, I have money covered. So I watch with him sometimes.”

“Something called Bluey. I think Kobik used to watch it, he loves it.” Hazel responded, sitting on the arm of the couch. “The dad’s pretty funny, I can see the appeal.”

Hazel lets out a breath of relief as they walk into the living room. Augustus was very much so not a baby anymore. He’s five but still not too verbal yet. He looks up and his face lights up seeing Danni and V.

She gives a small smile. “Hey V, always glad to see you too. Come on in you two, the little guys in here watching cartoons.”

“Always, yes please.”

“I’m going to have to go clothes shopping. This kid is growing faster than a weed. I can’t even keep up with him, he might be taller than me soon.”

“Ah, waiting for something to happen. I can’t say I blame you. But we’re here together. If anything happens, we’ve got it.” Stella tries to reassure her. Then is given word the taxis is here. “Be right back.” Stella tells her, rushing off to get the dancers into the cab.
