Tonight I had the pleasure of watching @jinjerofficial live with my daughter. If you don’t know them you should. Outstanding music and a live show that rivals with the best I’ve seen in decades of metal concerts.

@edthesoundman In that case, maybe not a good example but I have an fx chain in Reaper that almost always load for instruments simply because with 4 plugins it has all the functionality I want from a strip. It exists exactly because it gets me there the fastest.

@KonSlayer_GW Indeed. I have Falling in Reverse on my bucket list for some time, but I'm looking forward to watching Korn, Opeth, and Slipknot live. Jinjer, whom I only learned about because of the festival, also sounds amazing. But the special thing is having a metal weekend with my daughter!

@justinsomuch There are already AI accounts with thousands of streams on Spotify. I've asked friends who are way more knowledgeable than the average listener and they could not tell it was AI music... so... listeners accepting AI music is irrelevant. They'll simply consume it.

@Senskomusic Define "better." It can already make music that's fairly entertaining and listenable - and not all "real" musicians seem capable of doing that. Will it be better at expressing human thoughts and emotions? Of course not, it has none.
