@zalmusicYT ACTUALLY I lied, i just remembered having an issue in someone else's home studio with cackling, turns out the issue was they used a bad USB cable they just yoinked from their phone charger. That might also be the issue people are experiencing

@zalmusicYT To be honest I'm beginning to wonder if people are somehow accidentally buying knock offs? I've operated more than 50 different of these interfaces in person and I've never had a single issue. Hardware wise, focusrite really is a solid series especially for the budget.

I think most people talk about the old generations of this audio interface more than anything because the newest generation (gen4) is just fine.
